 氷見の網元の家・奥座敷 「郷倉千靭」富山湾上の立山連峰の掛け軸

夏も終わり、簾戸から襖へと模様替えを終え、掛け軸も掛け替えました。

鴨が二羽、富山湾の上を飛び、遠くには立山連峰が静かにそびえる——。

この日本画は、第16代当主・濵元昇が郷倉千靭氏に直接依頼し、この地に滞在して描かれたもの。

「ここだからこそ描けた、最も美しい風景」。

世界で「最も美しい湾」と称されるずっと前から、氷見の人々はその美しさを知っていたのです。

The Fisherman’s House in Himi – Summer in the Inner Room

The summer time is over — bamboo screens replaced with sliding doors, and a new hanging scroll now graces the alcove.

Two ducks glide above Toyama Bay, with the majestic Tateyama Mountain Range rising beyond.

This painting was personally commissioned by the 16th head of the family, Noboru Hamamoto（濵元昇）, and created by the renowned artist Senjin Gōkura（郷倉千靭） during his stay here.

A scene that could only be painted in this very place — the most beautiful hanging scroll, capturing the harmony between sea and mountains.

Long before the world recognized Toyama Bay as one of the “Most Beautiful Bays in the World,” the people of Himi already knew.
